Prabha Nayyar award for Excellence in Time Management is to promote excellence among students in terms of effective time-management. The award would recognize and honour the ability of a student to carry out multiple activities simultaneously and show significant improvement in some of them without compromising on the others. The activities may be as diverse as possible including academic grade points, sports, culture, hobbies, technical, leadership, social service etc.

ELIGIBILITY

A student who has completed 2 year’s stay at IIT Roorkee.

Open to all students/all departments at IIT Roorkee. Rs. 13,000/- for First Prize in Essay and Rs. 7,000/- for Second Prize in Essay.

SH. PANDIT SHIV DAYAL SINGH MEMORIAL AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN SOCIAL SERVICE For Third year students of B.Tech., B.Arch. of IIT Roorkee., Nominations can be made for self or by fellow students of Third year.

MANOJ JAIN AWARD of Rs. 50,000/- plus Shield & certificate of Prefinal years students of B.Tech.,B.Arch and Dual degree engineering Bachelor course students. (Male and Female).

ELIGIBILITY

NAYYAR AWARD carries three prizes of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 20,000 for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th years of UG / IDD courses and all students of PG courses are eligible.

ELIGIBILITY

B.K. AGRAWAL AWARD for Academic Excellence, to Honor a 7th semester student with the highest CGPA up to the 6th semester of B.Tech. Chemical Engineering programme. The award will carry a cash prize of Rs. 40,000/-.

This award carries one (01) cash prize of Rs. 30,000/- per year. This award will be given to a deserving student for significant contribution towards enhancing the entrepreneurship culture at IIT Roorkee.

SELECTION PROCESS

The following procedure will be adopted to select the student for Hari Krishna Mittal Leadership Award:

  • SCSP office will invite the application from the students.
  • SCSP office will verify the details and documents submitted of each applicant.
  • A committee will shortlist the applications received and conduct interview/presentation of the shortlisted candidates.
  • The final recommendation of the committee will be sent to the Senate for the approval.
